he's back!

I'm a little behind in posting photos and videos, so instead of trying to catch you up on the past several months, I'll just skip ahead to now.  Here are the latest photos of Arlito.  He's like a real person now.

His current interests are bubbles, babies, cats, dogs, balls, books, turning on/off the lights, talking about lights, eating cheese, bananas, opening junk mail, and pointing at pumpkins, airplanes, dogs, and buses. He dislikes putting on his coat, changing his diaper, having to put the bubbles away, and having to get out of the bathtub.

Here are some photos of our summer adventures, so far.  We just returned from a 17 day road trip through Oregon and California.  Arlo got to experience his first camping trips (in Yreka, Lake Shasta, and Bend, OR).  We also got to visit with Aunt Carolyn in San Francisco and Grandma and Grandpa Billington, Uncle Mike, Aunt Tracy, cousin Harry, and Trevor, Amanda and Camille in Lake Tahoe and Modesto, CA.  On the way back to Portland, we stopped outside of Bend to camp with some old friends from the Bay Area.  During our trip, Arlo grew two teeth, and experimented with eating lots of random objects including pine needles, dirt, bugs, and sunglasses.  We had a great time and are excited for our next adventure!

8 months old

Here are some photos of Arlo's 8th month!  As I was looking through photos, I realized that all of the good ones are of him "restrained", either by the high chair, or someone's arms.  All of the others are blurry because Arlo is always on the move (and I don't have a very good camera :).  Anyway, enjoy!

Almost 8 months

Spring is finally here in Portland, and with it brought Arlo's Uncle Aaron and Aunt Becca to visit!  We had a fun time showing them around our neighborhood, and just hanging out and enjoying the nice weather.  Arlo also got to hang out at the park with his cousin, Ruby, and our friends, Jenn and Katie.  He's become so interactive and loves exploring his environment.

7 months old!

Arlo is already 7 1/2 months old, and I have been very delinquent with updating this blog, so we have tons of photos from the past month and a half.  Arlo has become a very active little baby.  He likes to scoot on his belly all over the floor, and puts his hands and mouth on anything he can get his grubby little fingers around.  Here are some photos from our trip to the Cap K Ranch in Basalt, CO, and here in Portland.
