13 weeks old

I've been slacking on taking photos, but here are a few from the past week or so.  We've had a fun week with Adam on winter break, and holiday parties, dinners and brunches with family and friends.  Arlo now weighs about 14 pounds.  He's discovering his hands, and is very close to laughing and rolling over.  He's changing so much everyday!

12 weeks old and a trip to Arizona

Arlo and I just returned from a lovely trip to Arizona.  We went to Tucson for a quick visit with my friend, Beth and her 3 week old son, Liam.  Then we spent time in Phoenix visiting my grandfather, "Chief", and many friends and family members.  My mom made the trip out there, too!

11 weeks old

9/10 weeks and Thanksgiving at the Oregon Coast

We had a lovely time over Thanksgiving break with Grandma and Grandpa Billington and Uncle Will and Caroline.   Adam's parents were very generous and rented a house for all of us in Manzanita, Oregon--about 2 blocks from the beach!  We had a great time hanging out with Arlo, cooking yummy food, playing games, and frolicking on the beach with our dog, Huckleberry.

Eight weeks old

Arlo had his two month check up on Friday and we found out that he now weighs 11 pounds 6.5 ounces!  Here are a few photos from this past week, and a couple that Abbie recently sent from her visit.

Seven weeks old

Here are some pictures of Arlo's seventh week.  This week he started smiling intentionally and is making better eye contact.   We had a really fun week with visits from my dear friends, Abbie and Katrina.  Katrina called it our "mommy conference."  She has almost 3 year old twins at home, and Abbie has 14 month old, Henry, pictured below.  It was so much fun to hang out with them, talk about the joys and challenges of being a mom,  and learn lots of new tricks!  It was such a special treat to have two photographers around (Abbie, and her mom, Gloria), because they took some really nice photos.  Abbie took several of the photos below, and Gloria took the last couple.
